Privacy Policy

Application: Utility Toolkit Developer: FunLearnApps Effective Date: August 31, 2026

⚡ Core Privacy Commitment

Utility Toolkit processes all image compressions, dimension resizing, format conversions, Image-to-PDF generations, PDF merges, and QR code scans 100% locally on your device. Your photos, documents, and files are never uploaded to any cloud server or accessed by third parties.

1. Introduction & Overview

Welcome to Utility Toolkit ("the Application", "the App"), developed and operated by FunLearnApps ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a secure, transparent mobile experience.

This Privacy Policy explains how our Application handles information when you use Utility Toolkit on Android devices (Package ID: com.funlearn.utilitytoolkit).

2. 100% On-Device Local Processing

The core premise of Utility Toolkit is local, offline data sovereignty. The Application includes the following offline utilities:

  • Image Compressor: Compresses JPEG, PNG, and WebP images locally using device CPU/GPU algorithms.
  • Image Resizer: Modifies pixel dimensions and scales images locally without network transmission.
  • Image Converter: Converts image formats on-device with zero external API calls.
  • Image to PDF: Packages selected images into PDF documents directly on your device storage.
  • PDF Merge: Merges multiple PDF files in your chosen order locally.
  • QR & Barcode Scanner: Analyzes camera frames in real time using on-device machine learning.

Zero Cloud Uploads: We do not operate cloud servers for file processing. All input files, processed outputs, and temporary caches remain strictly within your device's isolated application sandbox.

3. Device Permissions & Usage

Utility Toolkit requests only the minimal permissions required to deliver its utility features:

Permission Purpose Data Handling
Camera
android.permission.CAMERA
Required strictly for the QR & Barcode Scanner feature to detect barcodes via live preview frames. Camera frames are processed in volatile memory in real time using Google ML Kit. No photos, videos, or camera recordings are ever stored or transmitted off your device.
Photo Picker / Storage
System Photo Picker & SAF
Allows you to select images or PDF files to compress, resize, convert, or merge, and to save the processed files to your device. Utilizes the privacy-preserving Android System Photo Picker and Storage Access Framework. The App only accesses the specific files you explicitly choose.

4. Third-Party Services & SDKs

To provide monetization (ads for free users) and subscription management (Pro tier), Utility Toolkit integrates trusted third-party SDKs provided by Google LLC:

Service Provider Purpose Data Types Involved Privacy Reference
Google AdMob
(Google LLC)
Serves banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads to non-subscribed (Free tier) users. Advertising ID, coarse IP-derived location, app interaction telemetry, and diagnostics for fraud prevention and ad attribution. Google Privacy Policy • AdMob Policies
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
(Google LLC)
Manages European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Swiss GDPR / ePrivacy user consent for advertising cookies and identifiers. User consent choices and device identifiers. Google Ads Policy
Google Play In-App Billing
(Google LLC)
Manages Pro subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly auto-renewing plans) and entitlement verification. Purchase tokens, product SKU identifiers, and order status. Payment credentials (credit cards, UPI, banking details) are handled exclusively by Google Play Store. Google Play Terms
Google ML Kit Barcode Scanning
(Google LLC)
Extracts QR codes and barcode data from live camera preview frames. 100% on-device machine learning model. Zero image frames or scan contents are uploaded to Google servers. ML Kit Terms

5. Data Retention & User Controls

  • No User Accounts: Utility Toolkit does not have account registration, passwords, or cloud-synced user profiles.
  • Local History Management: The in-app History log (which tracks file names and sizes of processed tools) is saved locally on your device storage (capped at 100 entries). You can delete any individual entry or clear the entire history log at any time by tapping Clear History inside the History tab.
  • Subscription Cancellation: Subscriptions can be managed or canceled at any time through your Google Play account settings at Google Play Subscription Management.

6. Data Security & Encryption

We implement stringent security standards to protect all user interactions:

  • All network communications performed by Google SDKs (AdMob, Consent, Billing) strictly utilize industry-standard HTTPS / TLS encryption in transit.
  • The Application utilizes Android scoped storage and isolated process sandboxing to prevent other applications from accessing your temporary utility workspaces.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Utility Toolkit is a general-audience productivity utility and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our third-party ad channels, please contact us and we will take immediate steps to address it.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features, security updates, or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted directly to this webpage with a revised "Effective Date" at the top of the policy.
